Q. Why do I always wind up drawing the devil?
A. I played with a Ouija board once in 1997.
B. I learned to read by looking at bottles of tabasco sauce. (Having spent the summer working at my stepfathers family tabasco sauce factory)
C. I accidentally farted in Sunday school.
This is for a superpunch contest! If i win i get holloween costumes and nameless other treasures! I decided to go with the probably more realistic side of spending all your time having imaginary adventures… probably makes for a pretty lonely real life. I love Calvin and Hobbes so i hope that isnt too depressing! I could have made him peein on something afterall, but i chose that classier route! I also got to use some cooool water color brushes in photoshop!
On January 31, 1961, Ham the chimp was launched into space in a Mercury capsule! I didnt know that berfore I drew this, but lets pretend this is a loving tribute to CHIMPS IN SPACE!! Another little known fact about chimps… they cross dress. Its true! Charlton Heston found that out the hard way!
When I finished this it took a fair amount of willpower to not go in and add stars… what does that say about my psyche?
I havent posted anything for a awhile … and what was that you said? “Why havent you? are you stupid?” First of all no need for name calling, and secondly the answer is… the devil made me do it! He came out of demonic device called the “parker brothers glow in the dark ouji board!” He challanged me to a fiddling duel, then the devil made me buy this dress, and finally he made me guess his name (lucifer btw). In order to get him off my couch and on his way, I did have to gave him my soul… So this crum bum doesnt come and annoy you out of your soul, I decided to draw a picture of him! Beware Beelzebub!

Okay ive become one of those people who has become a little fixated with the lower life form in my life. I project emotions on him, stare at him for hours trying to send him a telepathic message (usually “I wuv bo”), drive him around in a barbie convertible dressed like Jakie O… ya know standered stuff. Luckly there are no doggy sweaters and is no excessive mouth licking… yet. In the mean time ive drawn a little picture of him drinking tea and decided to try to attach a video of the process just as a change from my usual thumbnail pictures. BONUS! Freaky Astro drawing
I havent posted anything in a million years to the minute! So i decided to post an illustration Friday drawing. Why is it that men are so intimidated by strong confident snake haired women? I mean its 2oo9 guys! I think prentending to be froze in stone is a lame way of avoiding commitment! Am i right ladys?
Heres a post about my lil pooch Astro the boston terrier. He may be the cutest little idiot ever but he thinks hes hes amazing. Whats wrong with some self confidence? He obviosuly got his name from the jetsons dog and i wanted to make a jetsons inspired picture of him. I didnt spend too much time on this so i might go back and make a proper one but it turned out pretty good so enjoy.

So i didnt spend as much time as i would have liked on this… i was going to work on some cool metal textures and make a more realistic look. I kind of like the more simple look and i have a tendency to try to over do things or “polish turds” if you will. So i decided to force myself to stop. This poor robot… maybe his body just couldnt take anymore… or maybe this is just the first very painful step to becoming a real boy?
Here is some of the work i did for the http://www.11secondclub.com/ competition. I spent maybe a lil too much time worried about style and design and less about the whole animation part… but live and learn. I kind of under estimated how good some peoples stuff would be and thankfully others were pretty bad. Oh well if i try again ill be sure to use the whole month. Moving on to my loving tribute to rocket car drivers! Sure strapping a rocket to a car seems pretty genius, but what about the unforeseen dangers? Its not all glitz and glamour for the brave men and women that get behind that wheel. So this project is dedicated to those brave enough to risk almost certian death to drive at an unnessacarily fast rate… drive on rocket men (and probably women) drive on!

apparently everyone else noticed i didnt spend enough time on the actual animation too… i finished 24th. At least i wasnt 25th tho : )
